Unibet was founded in 1997 by Anders Ström, who ran it from his home in Earl’s Court, and is now owned by France’s FDJ United. It is a serious supporter of British jump racing: it sponsors the Champion Hurdle at Cheltenham under a deal that runs to 2028, and in February 2026 it sponsored its 3,000th race in Britain.

How the Unibet offer works
