Raced handy in 2nd - driven and made rapid progress to hit the front 1 1/2f out - battled on strongly in the final furlong though the margin was cut near the line
Restrained in mid-division early - dropped towards the back by halfway - asked for effort 2f out without threatening - plugged on at one tempo to finish 4th
Sat close to pace early - still second at halfway - driven into straight and asked for effort - stayed on but couldn't get to winner late
