Sat close up early but scrappy at the opening obstacle - slipped towards the back though not out of it around the 8th - made headway into third by two out - shaken up to close on the front-runner after that - drew level near the last where balance went awry - edged left under pressure on the run to the line - held no more in reserve and finished second
Held a midfield spot wide of the pack - improved to press for third three out before losing ground approaching the next - kept battling to the line well held in third
Settled with the group early - shared the front spot for a spell then sat handy - drifted right and gave up ground 2 out - dropped away after - stumbled at the last - conceded fourth on the run to the line
Shared front spot early - lost command and dropped away 4 out - finished well beaten in 8th
