★ Recent form analyst notes

  • Pos 2 9 Mar Taunton

Held up towards the back - urged into contention 11th - driven 3 out - lost ground before 2 out - responded before last - closed strongly on the run-in to snatch runner-up spot close home

  • Pos 7 7 Feb Newbury

Settled in the pack - urged forward before 4 out - dropped away from 2 out - finished 7th

  • Pos 9 26 Dec Kempton

Untidy over 1st and up with the front group - drifted through the pack by 4th and near the tail by 9th - stayed there to finish well held

  • Pos 1 5 Dec Exeter

Sat close to the front early - hit the front turning in with four to go - drifted right down the straight - pushed along after the second-last - reeled in on the run-in but dug deep to prevail
