★ Recent form analyst notes

  • Pos 3 11 Apr Aintree

Pulled hard in front - drifted right at the first - disputed the lead through the early fences before asserting at the 4th - relinquished the advantage at the 5th before reclaiming it at the 6th - challenged before 3 out and surrendered the lead at the following fence - stayed on from the last to finish 3rd

  • Pos 12 11 Mar Cheltenham

Settled handily early - up with the pace in 4th - hit the front 8th - shared the advantage briefly 9th before losing it - pushed along after 3 out - lost momentum 2 out and knocked about a bit - dropped away to finish 12th

  • Pos 2 16 Jan Windsor

Eager early grip on the bridle - went to front - three lengths in command before jumping awkwardly 3 out - urged along soon after - lead shrinking then stumbled 2 out - overtaken and eased to the right - fought back before the last then ran on but couldn't reach winner

  • Pos 2 6 Dec Sandown

Travelled strongly early and disputed front spot - just in front 3 out then pressed along - lost advantage before last and blundered slightly there - unable to match winner's turn of foot from there - stayed on to keep second place
