★ Recent form analyst notes

  • Pos PU 24 Apr Perth

Held a central position early - slipped towards the back after 3 out - pressed for effort before 2 out but faded quickly - eased and pulled up before the last

  • Pos 13 28 Feb Kelso

Held up towards the back of the pack - lost touch with the front after two out - soon gave way - finished well beaten in 13th

  • Pos 2 26 Dec Aintree

Sat close to the pace - hit the front 2f out - pressed and put in front soon after - kept battling but no match for the runaway winner

  • Pos 1 29 Nov Newcastle

Shared front spot early - moved clear 3 out despite a mistake at 2 out that needed urging - pushed along approaching last - stayed on strongly to the line for victory
